Ukranenland - Historical Workshops
The outdoor museum 'Ukranenland' is openend daily from 10am-5pm from May to October. It is the reconstruction of a Slavic settlement of the 9th/10th century on the 'Ueckerwiesen' at the edge of town.

Otto Lilienthal Museum, holder of many awards, tells the tale of how the technical history of aviation became human flight's cultural history

Greifswald Museum Harbour
Gaff ketch and schooner, seaquat and ramship, cruiser and kragejolle - about 45 old ships characterise the image of the museum harbour in Greifswald, which was founded in 1991 following the example of the museum harbours in Flensburg and Hamburg. With this, the Hanseatic townspeople reacted to the increased interest in historic ships and traditional seamanship.

Pomeranian State Museum
14,000 years of eventful history on the southern Baltic coast on both sides of the Oder River are presented between the former Franciscan church and the city wall - in an award-winning building ensemble that impressively combines Gothic, Classicist and contemporary architecture. The precious collection of paintings presents works by renowned painters such as Caspar David Friedrich, Frans Hals, Philipp Otto Runge, Max Liebermann, Max Pechstein and Vincent van Gogh.

Historical-Technical Museum Peenemünde
In the Peenemünde Army Research Centre the first rocket was launched beyond the earth's atmosphere in 1942.

Haffmuseum in the Castle Ueckermünde
Fancy history? In the Uckermüder Haffmuseum you can discover lots of it. Wether if Easter or Christmas exhibition or interactive tours through the local museum, visitors of every age will have a great time. If you managed to climb the 75 stairs up the castle tower, you will be rewarded with a great view.

Watermill Lassan
Today a mill and local history museum is situated in the Lassan Watermill. Old craftsmanship from frame carpentry to baker's craft is exhibited in it.

OZEANEUM Stralsund
With its five exhibitions and 46 aquariums, the OZEANEUM Stralsund invites you on an extraordinary underwater journey beneath the northern seas. Visit Humboldt penguins on the roof terrace, "Niki" the female sand tiger shark in the 2.6-million-litre pool "Open Atlantic" and the giants of the sea - real life replicas of whales.

Constant Exhibition of the Poet Karl Gottlieb Lappe in Wusterhusen near Lubmin
Karl Gottlieb Lappe - a nearly forgotten Poet (1773-1843). A constant exhibition in Wusterhusen, close to the beach Resort Lubmin, is located in the rectory of Wusterhusen's church. Here, the life and works of the poet Karl Lappe is documented and readings bring the poet's achievements closer. Wusterhusen is one of the stations of the "Route of North German Romanticism".

Caspar David Friedrich Centre
The Caspar David Friedrich Centre was opened in 2004 in the old soap factory in remembrance of the great artist and the most famous son of the city of Greifswald. It was extended in 2011 to include the entire former residential and business premises of the Friedrich family. The centre is an exhibition and document space as well as a research centre.
