Resort Mönkebude
The small resort Mönkebude enchants with its idyllic charm and promises a holiday full of rest and relaxation on the Szczecin Lagoon.
The village originated from the ancient Slavic settlement Doblowitz and was first mentioned in 1244 as Mönkebude. Today Mönkebude is a popular resort. Sailors can stay in the small yacht harbor. This offers many guest berths. The spacious harbor basin has been honored with the yellow shaft and three blue stars and presents a Boat and Motor Service for all necessary repairs.
Right next to the harbor is the fine-grained sand beach of Mönkebude. Here you can indulge yourself in the summer. Beach chairs and the rushing waves invite you to relax. Two RV spaces are available for camping. One place is in close proximity to the marina, the other is closer to the beach. Equipped with electricity and water connection, the courts provide campers with the necessary service. The local museum “Fischerstube” is a great place to learn about the history of the village as a home of fishermen.
