Town of Penkun

The most south-easterly region of Western Pomerania is characterised by deceleration, tranquillity, nature, abundance of water and history. At the heart of the region is the town of Penkun.

The highlight is undoubtedly the castle in the centre of the historic old town. There is a small museum here, guided tours are offered and there are regular events on the subject of regional products and agriculture. Agriculture is a major topic here and in the surrounding area and there are numerous offers for interested visitors. But there is also plenty more to discover. The town itself is surrounded by 7 lakes and unique, hilly, wild nature that can be explored by bike or on foot - the Oder-Neisse cycle path also runs along here.

In addition, the transport links directly on the A20 and A11 motorways are very practical for further excursions into the surrounding area. Szczecin is practically on the city's doorstep and Berlin or the coast of the Szczecin Lagoon are only a short drive away.
