Per Bäcker Trio from Greifswald's twin city Lund

Here come absolutely inspired all-round professional musicians who want to play for us as musical ambassadors from Greifswald's Swedish twin town Lund. And they want to conjure up summer in our hearts! Their repertoire is as wonderfully varied as it is huge.

For example, pieces by tango legend Astor Piazzolla, classical composer Wilhelm Peterson-Berger, pop star Sting, story-singer Evert Taube, Benny Andersson from Abba, song poet Joni Mitchell, film composer Ennio Morricone, Paul McCartney from the Beatles and much more will be heard in an enjoyable mix in which the beautiful melodies take center stage. A very personal repertoire of Argentine tango, Swedish folk music, jazz, Balkan music and original compositions, always with a jazzy, blue mood and an infectious smile that soon spreads to their audience.

The trio is well-known and popular thanks to numerous concerts throughout Sweden, but the individual members are also successful soloists and ensemble musicians in various formations: Malmö Opera and Symphony Orchestra, in works such as West Side Story, Porgy and Bess, Les Miserables, Miss Saigon; as band members in the Swedish Tolvan Big Band, the Norbotten Big Band, the Monday Night Big Band; but also as sidemen of jazz greats such as Michael Brecker, Dave Liebman, Jacob Fischer, Dizzy Gillespie, Don Byas, Tim Hagans and many, many more.

Tales told by Henrik Rosenquist Andersen

In the best of all worlds, princes can marry princes and princesses can marry princesses. Unfortunately, we do not yet live in such a world. The Danish storyteller Henrik Rosenquist Andersen had to come along and open up new perspectives. Most fairy tales were written at a time when being queer was not an option. With a little twist of the gender dial, however, it is possible to make even old, dry fairy tales blossom. In Andersen's Koffertheater, the characters are reimagined and given a queer identity. With queerness, he conjures credibility and authenticity back into the fairy tales. Andersen or the Brothers Grimm would probably have taken great pleasure in the diversity of identities that comes about when the genders are rearranged.

In the queer fairy tales, as told by the actor, the diverse queer identity comes across so unnoticed that it is not even apparent that a non-heteronormative person is playing the main role. Through its concept of mobile theater, the eventful theater for children aged 3-10 creates a familiar environment in which there are no inhibitions to participate and in which the audience can express their imagination. It is a wonderful experience for young and old to relive the fairy tales and enjoy the coming out of the stories together. A great joy of identity diversity and colorful ears while listening to the new fairy tales.
