Soap course/soap workshop: Make natural soap yourself

In this course we will make manual calculations for soap recipes together and the most important properties and effects of vegetable oils and fats will be explained. After that we will go to the practical part, where per person.

2 x 500g of soap will be made.

Different fragrances will be provided to scent the soaps. Surely everyone will find his favorite. In addition to detailed theory, we will also get right down to business and make 2 nourishing soaps using the cold process.

Content of the workshop:

• Raw material science
• Calculation of a recipe
• how to calculate the lye (NaOH)
• Calculating the liquid

Look forward to an exciting day! The workshop lasts about 3-4 hours, starts at 14.00 and costs 85,00 €.

The course includes

• all raw materials, working tools, workshop booklet and approx. 2x 500 g of soap, which you can take home.
• extensive consultation about the raw materials
• production of 2x 500 g soap incl. mold
• recipe of the soap you make at your disposal
• small snacks and drinks.

Participation in a workshop is possible from 3 people from 16 years.

You should bring with you (if not available, possibly also borrowable on site, please ask!): Safety clothing (safety glasses, sturdy rubber gloves (no disposable gloves) + mouth guard It is also important, since the soap glue will not have hardened by the end of the course, to bring appropriate transport material (cardboard box, basket, bag with a solid bottom).
