Getting married on a paddle steamer

Since the summer of 2008, the Mississippi paddle steamer »Baltic Star« has been in use on the Bodden waters. The construction of this steamer is strictly based on old American models. As with the earlier Mississippi steamboats, the drive is partly through the paddle wheel at the rear. With the »Baltic Star« you can take a boat tour with nostalgic charm along the Prerow stream to the Bodstedt Bodden and back. During the cruise you will be entertained live by maritime chats by the captain. You can enjoy drinks and savory snacks in the salon - such as freshly on board smoked fish - strengthen or just relax on deck. Enjoy the inimitable flair of the steamer amidst one of Europe's most original natural landscapes, the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park.
