Castle Rattey

The Castle Rattey is located in the middle of the old pleasure ground and 700-years-old oaks at the bottom of the 'Brohmer Berge' in northeastern Mecklenburg-Strelitz. The manor house from 1806 was costly refurbished true to classical standards and transformed into a castle hotel. Rattey surprises the guest not only as a wedding but also as a wine castle.

The quietly located castle hotel at the bottom of the ‘Brohmer Berge’ is embedded in a park. 1802-1806 it was built by Hans Christoph von Oertzen. Our 1996-1998 true to classical standards reconstructed house offers the guests with antiques and the comfort of today equipped rooms, luxurious bath rooms, one restaurant, wine cellar and spa area in the Renaissance vault. Castle Rattey is a wedding castle and has the stylish ambience for a dreamlike feast. As a wine castle Rattey made history.
