Promenade in Neuwarp

The promenade runs along the shore of the Neuwarper Peninsula. It is almost 1 km long, illuminated and video-supervised. Educational boards are located along the path, which has been designed for the disabled.

The promenade in Nowe Warpno was created within a few years. The first stage of construction was finished in 2013 - then 330 m of the promenade together with the lookout tower, which stands at the end of the headland, on Nowowarpieńska Bay, were made available to tourists. At that time, two restaurants, a store selling souvenirs and fishing equipment, and a flower store were opened. In the pedestrian areas there is a place for outdoor chess boards and parlor games, as well as a rotating figure of a bream. At the main entrance to the promenade, from Kościuszki Street, there is a free parking lot for cars. The beach on the Nowowarpieńskie Lake was also built from this side. The further part of the promenade spreads in the eastern direction, on the southern side of the headland. The second stage was finished at the beginning of 2015 - it is a 500 m long stretch, where the educational boards with famous sailors were placed. The whole is illuminated, supervised, equipped with trash cans and benches and adapted to the disabled. Nearby are other tourist attractions in Nowe Warpno, including the Old Town with its interesting Town Hall, baroque buildings and renovated town houses, as well as the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Seamen's Alley and the Seamen's Village.
