Municipal Church Strasburg

Strasburg's municipial church St. Marien was built between 1250 and 1280.

The building of the church was started in the second half of the 13th century. Around 1450 the conversion of the central part into a Gothic three-aisled hall church began. The church was comprehensively restored in 1935 and 1990. The 'Kaltschmidt' organ dates back to the mid of the 19th century, the painting of the barrel vault is from 1935. The peal of bells and the church's inventory were established in the 20th century.
