The museum of local history is located inside the Anklam gate, the island’s only gate

The late gothic brick stone building was constructed in the 14th or 15th century. The focus of its exhibitions are, representation of the town’s history, living and working habits from fishermen and farmers from the island Usedom. From the upper floor, you will have a panorama view of the city. You can also get married here.
