Loitz is not far away from the Baltic Sea lidos and the Mecklenburg Lake District. Also the Mecklenburg Switzerland is reachable by only 20 minutes with the car. From Loitz you can drive upstream at the Peene till Kummerower lake or downstream till Stettiner Haff and via the Peenestrom till the Baltic Sea in Peenemünde.

Thousand-year- old oak trees are near by the city as well as numerous museums, for example, the Ozeaneum in Stralsund.

In the Hotel tourists can try some peat specialties like ‘Torpfkopp’ or Whisky-peat from the harbor distillery and the brewery Loitz, which are made of domestic ‘Peene-peat’.
