The Baltic Sea and the north-east region of Germany have many areas which are perfect for water sports like windsurfing and water sports such as kiting. There are smaller and larger lakes, rivers and coves such as the Lagoon of Szczecin, the Peenestrom, the Strelasund, the Achterwasser and the Greifswalder and Barther Bodden. The wind conditions are just as varied as the locations.

Set sail and head for activity and adventure on the Baltic – sail along the chalk cliffs of Rügen or, at a more moderate speed, along the Bodden coast. Everyone is welcome, regardless of whether you're just learning to sail, already are an expert sailor or want to sail with an experienced crew.

North eastern Germany, with its many lakes, rivers and the Baltic Sea is a unique angler's paradise. The water of the Baltic and of the lakes and rivers are famous for their abundance of fish. The most frequent kinds of fish caught are cod, flounder, herring, zander, bass, perch, pike and carp. Fishing as a holiday pastime in our region will be a real adventure.

There are beautiful, sandy beaches and coasts by the Baltic Sea. For example, in Lubmin, Loissin, Greifswald Eldena, Mönkebude, Ueckermünde near the Szczecin Lagoon and many more along the Baltic coast. Our region also provides many indoor swimming pools with various activities in case it rains.
