Travel planning:

Means providing routes which are full of interest, including the most pleasant sections where man and nature interact. Detailed maps and documentation for the  route including points of interest on the way  are included. This might be a cosy café, a turn-off to "Kloenen", a small museum, the hidden "insider tip", flora and fauna, and so on. In this way each cyclist has time and space for his own exploration.

Child cycle service:

For the smallest ones make do-VG-certified child seats available. We offer appropriate child and youth bikes for children fitting every child's age and size.

Overnight accommodation service:

For your overnight accommodation we have pensions and hotels with comfortable rooms, a good breakfast and a cosy atmosphere. Houses in the local style are also available.

Category I = middle class hotel or pensions with 2, usually 3 stars, which offer comfortable rooms, a good breakfast and a cosy atmosphere.
Category II = comfort or roof-ridge class hotels providing a 3 star standard or roof-ridge Class hotels, which offer special comfort and a nice ambiance. These are houses, which are evaluated e.g. after DEHOGA with 3-4 stars.
Possibly resulting cure tax has to be paid always locally in the hotel.

We offer a large selection of 7-gear touring cycles with hub gear (predominantly Kettler). All usual frame sizes are available, including 26 and 28 inch wheels. We also have a selection of bikes with upright posture and turned in handlebars (like Dutch bikes) and bikes with slightly curved handlebars for a more sporty riding in a slightly bent forward position.

Breakdown service:

You get a high-quality and technically perfect bike from us to hire. In case of a puncture on the way, you are provided with a repair set and appropriate tools. A list of workshops, where you can have small adjustments or repairs carried out by prepayment and voucher will be provided as well. The charges are refunded to you up to a certain limit when you return.

Travel documents:

As a Mecklenburger cycle customer you receive full travel documents. If the tour is booked you get a route booklet, a moving map and a travel guide. If necessary, all of this can completely be stowed away in a booklet (such as bikeline Spiralo). Additional travel documents can be obtained by a surcharge of 15,- € to 25,- € depending on the specific route. However, usually we do not dispatch documents without a reservation for a trip. Travel documents are sent automatically to you after we have received your payment which is usually approximately 14 days before the beginning of the tour.

Insurance:

With our travel confirmation you additionally receive an insurance booklet of the European travel insurance AG. You complete the insurance application by using the paying-in form that is included in the booklet or by visiting www.mecklenburger radtour.de. Claims should be settled directly with the insurance company. The  booklet provides relevant addresses and service numbers.

Cycles and accessories:

For your tour we offer a large selection of 7-gear touring bikes with hub gears as well as 24-gear-shift. All usual bike sizes are available. Please let us know about the bike you prefer during the reservation process and we will try to meet your preference.

Accessories:

As an accessory to the bike rented you receive a luggage bag with approximately 10l volume as well as a breakdown set with key, repair kit, tire pump and bicycle lock.

Cycle transport:

The transport of our bikes is possible during the journey or with transfers on a trailer at the customer's own risk.
