Vorpommern provides some excellent golf courses offering different challenges. Each golf course has its very own style, its own play characteristics and a charming atmosphere. Here, you can golf amidst a fantastic scenery, making your holiday an unforgettable experience.

The golf park of Balm is situated on the Isle of Usedom near the Balmer Lake. Near the Achterwasser, it is surrounded by beaches, the cliff line, quiet bays, beech groves and meadows. Balm offers a beautiful 27 hole championship course, a 6 hole training course and a golf school providing taster courses.

The golf course at Karnitz castle [Rügen] provides a demanding 18 hole tournament course [par 72] with a total length of a approx. 6 kilometres. There's also a 9 hole course, suitable for beginners. The golf academy "Danny Witt" offers courses for both beginners and advanced playsers. 

The seaside resort of Sassnitz [Rügen] also has a golf course with a breathtaking view over land and sea. It's a small 9-hole course, par 30.

Further facilities for golfers are in Bakenberg, Neddesitz, Wittenbeck and in Tessin.
