Nature Discovery Park Gristow
Pristine trails, a lot of playgrounds and resting areas and different viewpoints, allowing a view across the Gristower Wieck at the Greifswalder Bodden, invite for a walk or picnic. At the petting zoo or during pony riding, children will come into contract with our four-legged friends.
The park lies close to the B105 between Greifswald and Stralsund and provides – thanks to its 70 ha of space and its diverse landscape – a great opportunity to relax and unwind.
The park includes multiple outdoor enclosures with up to 300 animals. You will come across kinds of traditional farm animals – including aurochs and goats. We have also plenty of small animals like parakeets, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds and so on.
But not only beautiful landscapes and animals are a delight for young and old. The petting zoo, an adventure playground with observation tower, swing, climbing scaffold and a traffic park offer plenty of opportunities to have a fun and exciting stay. Carriage rides and bouncy castles (during special events) provide experience, fun and games.
We also offer to host children’s birthday parties. A treasure hunt and games can be organized, if you give us a short call in advance.
You can also rent our big hall for celebrations and in addition we provide barbecue areas all around the park. Our Hostels can be rented all year round.
You like to fish? Which each overnight stay comes the possibility to rent one of our roingboats.
Furthermore there are a lot of park festivals all year long.
Your four-legged friends are welcomed as well but please put them on a leash.
