On the Peene, Trebel, Tollense and other rivers of north-eastern Germany you can make canoe tours near the Baltic Sea. Experience the unique richness of flora and fauna. Created during the last ice age, today the north-east of Germany has the last unspoilt river valleys of western Europe. The rivers and lakes fill the area between the Kummerower Lake and the Baltic Sea. There you can find beavers, sea eagles and kingfishers on your canoe tours. On your way you will come across old Slavic castles, viking settlements, village churches and old cloisters from the varied history of north-eastern Germany.
You may also choose whether to enjoy your holiday with guided tours in small groups, or independently with support from the organizer. Accommodation is offered near the Baltic Sea in tent or in hotels.
There are several holiday operators, which you can find through the tourist association of Vorpommern.
